There is an application cycle per show available, so make sure you are on the Interest List to stay up to date! Organizations will be selected based on need, quantity of tickets available, prior program participation, and how the production aligns with the organization's mission and programming. We prioritize LA County nonprofits and other local community organizations.

Approved organizations will receive a unique code to reserve tickets. This code can be shared with the group members. Digital tickets will be distributed by 2pm the day of the performance.

Choose a point of contact for your organization and have them fill out the application  before the deadline. If your organization is selected, the point of contact will choose if the organization would like to place a group order for printed tickets to a single performance night or to receive a promo code to share with the organization members for them to reserve their own free tickets. We do recommend that organizations choose a specific performance date to attend together for a more memorable experience.

Organizations may reserve up to 50 tickets. Because these tickets are meant to be for community members rather than leadership and board members, we strongly encourage organizations to reserve a minimum of 20 tickets.

Yes and no. Organizations should evaluate each production individually as our minimum age recommendations fluctuate. Please check out the show’s specific page on our website for more information.

Nonprofit and educational organizations are eligible to apply. Examples include community centers, service organizations, youth empowerment organizations, middle and high schools, community colleges and universities.

It is not guaranteed that an entire group will be able to sit together. If your organization chooses to apply for a group order, the Box Office will try their best to sit your members close to each other. If your organization chooses to apply a promo code to multiple performances, only individual ticket orders will be sat together. When you reserve your tickets, you'll receive a confirmation email, but your specific seat location will be provided when your digital tickets are sent out. This helps us ensure you and your group get the best possible seats.

Applications are released about one month before each In The House applicable production. Please join our Interest List or follow us at @ctgcommunity to get notified when application cycles open! 

Student organizations that are recognized by their educational institution qualify for In the House. This includes organizations with an official club/association constitution or materials that have been approved by the school. Teachers, professors, and school leadership can also apply for their educational institutions.
